Scratch built sandbags? (1 Viewer)

Nice article on mass-producing sandbags. Like potato chips, you can't stop at just one :) Another advantage of homemade sandbags for vehicles is that while they are soft you can "drape" them and bend them to curves and angles.

Thanks for posting.

I tend to like the old fashion sandbag look. I use material and fill each little bag with Play Doh so I can shape it. Plenty of white glue is used to secure the material onto the Play Doh and then I tie it off with a thin thread.

Nicely done Nick now I'm looking forward to seeing the mealie bags you come up with when you put together your Mission Staion at Rorke's Drift.....The Lt.

Thanks guys.
I have been studying the mealie bags for some time now and plan to experiment real soon with making them. There are too many bags and crates in this diorama. lol.

Does anyone know the exact dimensions of a mealie bag?

I have to make the rock wall section that holds the cows also.
Maybe I could use clay on some of the bags and rocks.
Who knows?
Time will tell :)

Nick;)
