I just visited the USS New Jersey this past weekend and it was awesome. Wonder if Andy would consider a ship with 9 sixteen inch maulers and some cruise missle launchers?

I visited the ship with my sons scout troop. We got to sleep overnight on the ship, and received a complete tour from former USS New Jersey crew members, including a former commander who ordered the final use of the 16 inch guns in Lebanon in 1984. We had dinner and breakfast in the mess hall. I was able to go into the turrets, engine rooms, the ships hospital, and I sat in Bull Halsey's command chair. Those 16 inch guns have a range of 23 miles. That is me along with my son standing along side a 16 inch shell. The replica of Admiral Halsey was incredible. Enjoy!

The Boy Scouts certainly are a fine organization!
