I'm searching for a 54mm toy soldier figure of a Hun cavalryman which was based on the drawing of a Eastern Hun by M. Gorelik in his Montvert book ' Warriors of Eurasia VIII BC - XVII AD'. I'm pretty certain the figure was available a few years ago, but I can't remember the manufacturer of the figure. It may have been one of the Russian firms like Russian Vityaz, .... I searched the web, but without success.
Can somebody help me with this please?
Thanks

Sorry, I was wrong about the drawing in M. Gorelik's book. The right drawing can be found on plate 5, number 5A: Middle Asian Hunnic heavy cavalryman.

Can you give me their site please?
I thought I chequed their site, but maybe it wasn't the good one.
I don't know if the figure is still in production. I hope so. If not, I certainly would like to find a picture of the figure.
Thanks

Saka,

In 1996, Aero Art St. Petersburg produced two Hun figures. Both mounted figures were sculpted by Michael Polskij for the Arsenyev Studio. Only 38 Hun Heavy Cavalry (HU2) figures were made, and only 47 of the Hun Light Cavalry (HU3).

Thank you for the great info. Charles. I chequed the site, but can't find the figure, so I suppose it isn't available anymore.
Is there a chance that you have a picture of the figure(s), or might know someone who can have one?
If I can't get the figure anymore, at least a photo of it would be great.
Thank you

Saka,

I have the images, but AeroArt forbids photocopying or scanning their Index Guide without their permission. I suggest you contact them and ask them directly for the images. The images are on page 171 of the The AeroArt St. Petersburg Collection 1992-2004 Index Guide.
