Does the show mean that the disasters were secret until now or just when they happened? I'd heard of the training losses some time ago. Was the shoot down of the Piper Cub spotters by allied troops mentioned?

I'vw seen a couple of programs on this subject before

Very interesting programme about DDay. I had not seen this one before. Thankfully, it did not happen on the 6th june as the casualties would have been much worse than they were.

The falklands programme was superb
