and a very nice frame it is. Will it house perhaps a new political party in time for September elections?

Like these?
Wayne.

When the toy soldier copyright police track the two of you down you can lead the craft classes in jail.

That's where I am a class act - nothing derivative in my work. It is all an expression of my creativity ... except for the barn, that's Wayne's ... and the bridge I've used, that's Bob's ... and the hanger, that's Wayne's too ...

oh well - maybe the have cells for three.

Marc,
How can a photo be secret if we can see it ?

I think Waynepoo must be working with the CIA/Google to access your secret plans.

aaahhhh... that was very well spotted... lurking in the background are some nicely weathered "detailing" bits for what is shaping up to be a rather largish dio german ww2 strongpoint.... possib;y with an intersecting road and bridge.... :) I have to confess to buying up some nice verlinden products and have been toiling away painting and weathering bits and pieces.... i shall take a few snaps nad post them in the next hour.... :)

Marc how do the verlinden pieces go with K&C ?

With all this talk of Jail, secret photo and CIA, the NSA might start taking an interest in this thread!!!{sm2}{sm4}

Looking good Mr Womble!

wayne, some items are fine and some are not. the 44 gallon drums are small but don't look out of place.... i think things that pertain to a soldier eg weapons, uniforms/helmet stuff can look too small as you have the 1/30th scale soldiers for comparison however things like crates, boxes, drums, tanks and machinery type stuff can look perfect as the scale of the full size objects are harder to visualize.... if that makes sense.... :)

Its real fun to start each piece has a blank canvas then paint and weather until you get it looking good. the best thing I ever did was buy a cheap $7 pack of 12 pastel sticks. they are great for "dial your own" weathering powders and of course I'm a big fan of the wash.... black and sepia from vellejo paints.... love em :)

if you ever get the chance to have a look back through any of the old 90's Verlinden Products publications it is easy to see how those little detailing items make a MASSIVE difference to a diorama.... I've built a few of their resin detailing kits now and they are great. sometimes a bit of filing because of the thick resin sprues but its not hard work. I have a couple of their 1/35 ceramic/plaster bombed buildings which are very well priced. they are unpainted and I would say will come up great with a weathering and I think the scale due to it being a building in ruin is comparable and or not noticable with the 1/30th figures.... I will post some pics over the next week or so of the buildings I have put together and painted.... :)

all the best,
marc
