Seems like another interesting piece? (1 Viewer)

Very early series, unique in the fact that there were only 6 sets of figures.
One Huey done in several different markings, a M113 done in wood, and another version in resin & metal. A Duster done in very limited release, and two different Firebases, one two pieces, the other 6 pieces also very limited.

Here are Sets 1, 2 & 3

I really enjoy viewing pictures your collection, even if seen before.

You have some very nice sets for collectors.

Set VN003 is like an add on for a chopper.

Thanks, Raymond.:)

John,
this is one set I am going to make an offer for from you one day!!! By far my the one K&C I want. I have 3 full sets of VN1, 6 and 7 and most of set 3 (of course who needs the others when you have the Duvall figure!!). I have a 1/32 Huey, but that original one is cool!

Thanks Raymond, I hope it makes it easier for anyone trying to identify something they are hunting for.

It also shows that you can find most anything, this series was just retired when I first began collecting.

Tom, yes Set 8 The Vietcong seem to be the tough one to get! I have a
nice little group that constantly like to menace my firebase whenever I leave the room!:D

Here they are going after a column of M113'S:eek:

When I first started collecting, I really liked these. I wanted to get them, but I needed to save my money for KC WWII stuff. Regrets. Regrets. NJJA on a side note, I recently got the LRDG Chevy truck on your recommendation. I now have both trucks and the REECE jeep. Now to work on getting the Crusader tank.

Good for you! You will really love that Crusader tank, it is one of my favorite

models, really very nicely done!

I always liked the Original Long Range Desert Group when I saw pictures of it

in Louis's collection! That was something that I always kept an eye out for...

but its very difficult to find. It was great when Andy released more of

these vehicles, the Figarti models are also excellent I love their rubber tires.

On a side note one morning I actually picked up an SAS01 out of Hong Kong

for less then its Original Retail! It just shows you never know what you are

going to run into next!:D

Ya, I have that single figure and 2 others from the series, I believe he also said... "Charlie don't surf".

Definitely a great diorama, weren't you thinking of selling this at one point?

A couple of years ago, I thought about it. I have a wide variety of things I collect, so every now and then when moving things around you decide things

are taking up just to much space!

I went though a period where I sold off a lot of really nice early stuff and replaced it with the newer items that really looked so much nicer!

I missed the early ranges so I deided to focus on Arnhem, Vietnam, backlot buildings & display pieces along with early wooden & resin items and just a

few of the newer pieces which I change out when something else catches my eye. Its nice to have the complete series and look for variations rather

then chasing a series that will be very difficult to complete.

Right now I am focus on Smith Miller Original Pieces with close to 2 dozen looking for room to display.

This is the latest pending its arrival, it is almost 3' long and weights 11lbs.
