I am looking to sell off a considerable portion of my collection (over 300+ items). I do not have the time to piece it out one by one on the forum or eBay.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to move it?

Thanks in advance.

Well, if you post a general description in here, such as "K&C and CS Napoleonic sets from 2002-2008, mostly artillery and limited editions", and then an aproximate count of figures "330", then a general cost per figure "$25 foot, $65 mtd" and then ask people to PM you if they are curious if you have a specific set, or are interested in all the "French Infantry" you have. Then you can count the figures, name the sets in that area, and give them a price based on the previous numbers as well as the amount they are buying. You could also post a couple of specific rare sets, if you are selling any.
Hope that helps,
Sandor

One or two things come to mind, contact Norman Joplin and see if he is excepting consignments for one of his next auctions or check with an auction house like Philip Weiss in NYC and see what they charge to move it. Shannon and Peter also sell sets for customers so perhaps they can help. Or post a list here in the collectors classied area and see who wants what you have for sale.

Dave:

Thanks for the ideas. My preference is to do it in some way that it moves all at once. I have heard of dealers buying entire collections, but I am not sure how that works either.

Best,
Jason

Jason,

Dave's suggestions are in accord with mine and I would definitely check with P Weiss (they are on the web). I would also check with George Guerriero of Minuteman. He buys collections from time to time. Tom Dubel takes things on consignment but you would have to see if the amount that you would want to sell is something he wants to take on.

Maybe we should move this to the General Discussion thread, for more visibility.

Prost!

Moved as it was in the wrong section. The "Forum How to" is for things pertaining to the forum, like how to post a photo, pm another member etc....
