Hi John,

Thanks for posting these great pictures! Two of them contain a glimpse of a few figures that seem to be Samurai. Can you tell us more about these figures? What clan do they represent? Are they East of India figures? If not, what company manufactured them? Any additional information will be greatly appreciated!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Hi Pat

The figures you speak of are my Aero Art Samurai collected over the last few years. I also have the cool East of India Displaying the Heads Set in the back of the display case.

I have just put the camera away, but it is such a pleasure to hear from you I will go take some photos and post them as soon as I can get them down loaded!

Hope you are doing well, and enjoying yourself!

John

Hi John,

It is also a pleasure for me to find you here. While I very much look forward to seeing your AeroArt Samurai figures, please do not go to special trouble to post the photos immediately. I can easily wait until you have more time to post them.

And, yes, I am doing well and greatly enjoying myself. My collection has grown a fair amount since we last talked. Also, I have built a special toy soldier display room in my basement. The display room includes a number of nice, internally lighted curio cabinets. The lighting in the cabinets is supplimented by a track lighting system that includes dimmer switches. The track lighting system is installed in the ceiling of my display room. The long and the short of it is that I can play with all sorts of lighting.

Since the display room is quite new, I am still unpacking and arranging toy soldier displays. As you can see, I am enjoying myself immensely.

How about you? Have you finally retired and started to enjoy the good life? When you have the time, send me an e-mail and bring me up to date!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat
