I like the Christmas set. It's a great addition to the WW1 line. But don't you think that the Johnny Walker Red Label needs a wee dram of water with it?

That Scotsman isn't daft. He's already emptied 75% of that Red Label into his canteen and topped up the bottle with cold tea. The Jerry's so full of Snapps already that he can't tell he's being ripped off.

The ski troops look great and are long overdue. Add some Finns and we are in business for Leningrad. The WWI Christmas set is nice, but the WWI sets overall are a little unimaginative if that is a word. I guess there are only a finite number of fighting poses though. The 13th Bavarian could use Lt. Rohm leading them into the fray! An idea for the collector's club might be some more WWII personalities as they appeared in WWI - like Mussolini, Rommel, MacArthur etc.
