I agree Martyn. Very nice horse drawn guns. Len should have made a Skoda Mortar also.

World War I pilots, ground crew, and aircraft, as well as tanks and armored cars.:smile2:

I started thinking about this thread. I would not want Len to get the wrong idea. He cannot please everyone, especially hindsight. As he said about the Boer War trains, the development and production costs were prohibitive. I am so grateful that he gave us the sets we have available with his great talent and humor. Still, he could have at least produced a Skoda Mortar!{sm4}

No way Len would get the wrong idea Tommy:wink2: He told me there were lots of ideas but they never came to fruition before he sold the Company

Another set I would have liked to have seen would have been the Death of the Prince Imperial............now that gives me an idea :cool:^&grin

By the way he is enjoying a short holiday at the moment in the Cotswolds

Thanks Martyn. Didn't Tradition or Imperial make a set of the Prince Imperial?

Many thanks for that info and picture Scott :salute:::salute::, I had a look on Dorset Toy Soldier site but couldn't see anything Tommy

This was my attempt at recreating the event using Trophy figures a couple of years ago

Martyn: Little Legion must have been where I saw it. Great diorama.

I wish len would have made french horse grenidiers as well as french infantry knelling and firing, some firing up.

Little Legion made some really good Horse Grenadiers. I agree with you it is probably the only unit Trophy never did which they should have.
Oh well we are still all grateful for the wonderful sets Len did give us over the years.
