No complaints there - cannot show the vehicle moving approaching the camera like most of the shots taken in 1914; somewhat limiting therefore - look! There went the taxi - or - that's the taxi I missed! - always accompanying shots of the rear of the vehicle...c'est la vie...always the rear... :)

Nice, I especially like the Legionnaire, I made something similar from a home made mould & a bit of "fettling".

Wonderful composition and color. The taxi driver is a superb.

Thanks for the responses. The colorful backdrop is a biscuit tin - the scene, I am informed, is of Alsace though it was not labelled on the tin.
