I'm not really in love with these figures but I've had them in their storage tubs almost 2 years so I set them up.

Cool pics as allways Scott the TSSD figs get a lot of talk but there's nothing wrong with these.

of all these figures in your photos the Timpo Indians paint up really well - they have some good detail. They were originally sold in the 1970's as part of the Action Pack Series of paint-your-own figures. By coincidence I am painting some now along with a set of the BMC 7th Cavalry

i might have to track some down dave,i have never owned any of the timpo action packs,only the swoppet timpo which were brittle as hell.

What is good about the BMC Little Big Horn set (with a few addition of mounted troopers, is that for a small amount of $$$ you could do an educational set-up representing all three actions of the fight: Reno's attack on the village, Benteen's defense on the hill, and of course the Stand.

BMC gives you some great tepees, with the women and travoirs (spelling) showing the confusion in the village during the attack.

BTW I attach the Indians to the horses with a plastic rod and Zap-a-Gap.
