How much is gas/petrol over there that would make teens gas and dash? Is it like really expensive? Gas here in Texas is $1.65 a gallon...you do the math.

Man, time must be tough in the hills of NZ. If I was the parents I would be so embarrassed...good lord.

Sadly John, gas is still fairly expensive down here and no where near as cheap as in the US. 'Petrol drive-off's' used to be quite rare, but are now common for some gas stations. Unfortunately we have a growing number of teens more than happy to have a go now-a-days and their parents are often the problem.
