Shelf Dios (1 Viewer)

I think I am going to try and incorporate some wall units and maybe a Granemo for the bigger bases. I am redoing a room in my house just for this so we will see how the new 'office' turns out:):):):):):):). Thanks for the help and maybe I will post some pictures when complete.

Looking forward to it. This is so working out as an interesting thread

Figures as soon as I made the last remark no one posts anything!
However, I will post some new pics soon because there are no less than three shelf dios at this time. I will also be experimenting with back drops and making them a little three dimensional. I do not like the shadows cast during the picture taking. This is partially due to the flash I have to use. Also the figures are to close to the wall. A compromise given the limited space.

I don't want to disapoint my Lord General so here's four shelf dios..Your humble Aide De Camp

Thanks Lt. Here is a shot of some of the shelves I am using. I got them from "Michaels" a craft store common in this area. They were on sale for about ten bucks a piece. All of the dio stuff I have been doing lately came from here.

More photos please I see others and hope you don't keep them hidden. Great background photo behind the Rebs and Yankees... Your Aide De Camp

Going to do more arranging. Clear the books out. Thinking about a "General" type dio. Lots of shelf space to go. Also going to do a Zulu thing soon. Need to see some terrain of Rourkes' Drift. Lots of ideas and too little time.

Those were made up by J G Miniatures. I am going to try and make some of those for other dios. I will also be improving the dios as I go along. My oint is to get people to try and do something with there figures other than keep them in the box.

KV - If possible try lighting your dios so you don't have to use your flash. It can be tricky and usually requires 2 or 3 lights... so the shadows are evened out. But if your figures are too close to the wall, you'll still get some shadows.

Thought I'd have some fun playing with your toy soldiers from this end. Hope you don't mind My Lord General
