Thought i might share these kits that i painted not sure if i will mix them with Conte/Britains ect.
As they are a touch to small for them....Maybe use them in there own dio mixed in with I/R kits.
These Shenandoah kits are among the very best castings I know and with their numerous accessories available a treasure trough for the skilled modeler/painter.
You did a very fine job here, Ragnar.
A great pleasure to look at them.

Thanks for showing us your Shenadoah figures, like all the others, I have to agree that they are among the finest produced anywhere. Good for me is that they came from Australia, so are very affordable too
I've painted hundreds of them over the past decade, and just love the different faces that Paul Clarke has crafted, all individuals too. I just love how all parts are interchangeable so you can make so many different figures, and poses.
I can only echo what John has said about this range of figures. In the few years that I have know John he has very kindly made and painted for me a few mounted ACW cavalry figures that have combined the best of Shenandoah and Imrie Risley parts that when put together and with John's undoubted modelling skills have resulted in truly exquiste one off figures that I am very proud to have in my collection. I know that I don't say it often enough John, but thank you very much for your efforts.
Many thanks guys...And do agree they are great kits and like you say John you can swap parts around very easy.
Would like to se Paul Clarke add in some Generals and maybe some Artillery figs.
you mentioned Artillery by Shenadoah, well I got around the issue by using heads and bodies from Sheandoah and supplimenting other arms from my spares box to produce a unique Confederate Gun team. I used an I/R Civil War gun to produce this set.
Same standing figure used for the 2 LH Gunners.
and other parts for this kneeling Union drummer boy.
Now thats a neat set there John, I allways did like the look of the I/R Guns.
never did get one and the I/R range aint getting any cheaper .
but you do have some good ideas there mixing parts between the two brands.
Thanks for posting the pics
