Sherman Multiple Choice (1 Viewer)

Okay this is my Tiger tank I built 3 years ago. I'm no master but I like this one because it tells a story of some German tankers playing cards and waiting to be towed by a bergetiger.

That's one heckuva nice Tiger tank as well! I also love vignettes which show the human side of war, such as K&C's winter tiger with the crewman cooking eggs.

Alex,

Outstanding! I marvel at how a good modeler can tell a story with the presentation of his/her model. You certainly have a steady hand, a good eye for detail, and the creativity necessary to make an excellent presentation of your work. I would certainly enjoy seeing more of your craft!

Warm regards,

Pat

The Sherman is all American. The Firefly is a British aftermarket modification.

When I think of Masterworks I envision something like the picture below. The 1/35 Tamiya Masterworks were plain and boring especially for the price. I think the Tiger tank that I built was better looking and I am not a master. The minichamps are too clean and with bright colors. I guess it would be okay for factory fresh tanks but I guess I like battle worn tanks.

Good point on Minichamps, I guess they are not very realistic tanks. But still, when I have one in my hands, I like the heavy metal feel, the superbly rotating tracks, the beautiful painting job: it is a quality product. Well, nothing is perfect...
