Sherman resin casting trouble (2 Viewers)

Hello at all,

I have two WB Sherman M4A3 and I noticed some trouble in regard of the upper hull sides casting :

- 25136 : low border of the upper hull side is not straight as it should be but is badly curved so that tracks
are touching the underside in the middle of the hull side ( see attached photos ).

- 25207 : this time, at one place on the right upper hull side there is a bump, so the surface don't appear vertically flat as it should be.

I think it is some casting trouble with the resin which is perhaps not enough cold when coming out of the mold.

Have you also such trouble with your Shermans ?.

And also, in regard of historical accuracy , it is a pitty that WB don't make the reinforcement check on the front of the right side of the turret.
It seems that all late Shermans M4A3 wet have this feature in 1944-45.

Having said and in all cases, I like the WWII military vehicles released by WB and I am waiting for the M-10 TD.View attachment 304630View attachment 304629

Hello at all,

In first, thanks for all your answers to my message on this forum.
I wanted to inform you that William Britain sent me two replacement Shermans.
It is a very commercial gesture which I really appreciate.
Thank you very much to Ken and Ted !.

If it happened on one, are there others that might have the same issue?, the wait for a
New release to be released can be frustrating, and it to have issues when we receive it, is that fair? Again with the price of this pieces, shouldn't quality control caught it? And if a buyer catches it, isn't that too late already? Not unless that is what they are relying on? For quality control, I certainly hope not..

Lets tip all our hats when there are no more issues, or should we consider that the norm?lets spend money on a hobby, that the norm is " there might be issues, that we missed" how is a curved on a tank, that shouldn't be there, be acceptable?? We should expect a better quality control, not be a part of the excuse..

Kudos, great job, tip of the hat should be given to something exceptional, not on responding to something that went wrong. That would be sad, because the bar for exceptional is so low, as just responding to a complaint..

What’s your problem, man? Take a chill pill.

Just proves my point, the norm is accepting and saying "Kudos, great job in responding, Exceptionaly done, five stars out of five.. instead of we will do better in the quality control..
Some people like Napo1onier, expect to have something wrong on the products that was bought, that is norm, and should not be discussed.. am I wrong In anything I said??

No disrespect to you intended when I acknowledged Britains for their response.

I simply noted what they did when a collector reached out with a concern.

So much gets lost in a keyboard, no doubt this exchange would be different in person.

Sorry, Panzer.. I apologize,I did not mean to jump on this. I myself just want all products to be at very least good, with no hangups, to be proud that I bought a product, that in the coming years, I would say, I am glad I bought it.. Again my apologies..

Absolutely no need to apologize!

I respect your opinions and like reading your posts.

Collectors like you make this hobby great.
