The last batch of my Vikings arrived yesterday. This range is simply outstanding. In my opinion, these figures represent some of First Legion's best work. As others have said, First Legion rules! My only complaint is that they have anyone to fight...

Indeed they are fantastic, and need now some English to beat. Great photos.

Lovely display. Very artistic. The figures and terrain certainly lend themselves to imaging, such vibrant colors.

Those Vikings look excellent. Are the shield designs painted on or are they decals? They look painted, that is really great detail work if they are.

Wonderful collection and brilliantly displayed. Where did you get that little display case?

Brendan

Excellent diorama and great photos. W. Britains produces a line of Saxon Warriors that are size compatible with the First Legion Vikings. Vikings fought amongst themselves as much as they fought Saxons, Carolians, Slavs or Byzantines. Thomas Gunn is producing a line of Byzantines that would be excellent foes for the FL Vikings.

Can I ask where you got your turf and trees? It looks great, thank you for the photos

Thanks. The turf is from Woodland Scenics and the trees are from JG Miniatures.

They are very good decals.

Thank you. I purchased it at Michael’s. It is a football display case. They are usually on sale at between $20 to $25.

Thanks for your thoughts. I especially like your idea of the Vikings fighting each other.

These are really impressive. Especially like the shield decal on the 4th from left, front row. That's really intricate and unusual. Yes, Micheal's has great trophy cases that lend themselves well to small dios. They just had a 40% off sale in the last week or so; and do it a few times a year. Congrats on a beautiful display.

Thank you. The shields are my favorite part of these figures. I think that it is hard to tell that they are decals. Here are some close ups:

Ah yes, my favourite period in history and you have displayed it well. Very nice figures. Something to compliment your diorama. Regards Greg.
