Hi again.
I am trying a different tactic in the shop. Most customers who actually come to the shop buy Britians soldiers, which is great but I need to sell my own brand Cold Steel if I am to survive. So I have decided to display my cold Steel soldier in long lines. I am playing on the collectors nostalgia here.

When I was a kid I used to walk home from school and stop at the indoor market to buy some sweets and look at the toy soldiers on the next stall where the fella used to display them in long lines of multiples of the same figure like the pictures below. I used to love looking at them soldiers the problem was I never had any money to buy them.

Well I thought I would give it a try.

Have a good weekend folks.

Hi Iwan,
very good idea, I love it.
Wish you all the best and a very well selling.
Would be happy to have a shop like you

Marcus

Your figures are as good if not better as Britain's ! Long to see your Empress's Dragoons ! I will buy the standard bearer for sure !

Really good display.I like your 43rd Foot figures very much.As someone said,I'm looking forward to your Dragoons.

Wish I could visit the shop. Looks fantastic.

I'm probably stating the obvious but are your displays the first thing customers see when they walk in?

What's on the horizon for future releases?

Thank you very much. If you are ever in the UK you would be more than welcome to come and have a look around.

It is a very small shop so I think the first things you see are the cabinets with displays in them.

With regards to future plans the Empress Dragoons will becoming next but they are already a bit behind schedule. I was hoping they would be ready before Chinese New Year but only 2 were ready then. The factory has been open a few already and they are back to work on them now.

Then the 31st regiment of foot from the Anglo Sikh Wars will come after the Dragoons. The first 7 sculpts are ready for these so we will now get the masters painted and then they will go into production.

My plan was then to add a few troops to the existing regiments like the 43rd standard bearer and a few more soldiers to the 87th regiment but I have decided to do something else Napoleonic first and then come back to these. I can't say what it is yet, it is far to early but it will have quite a big impact,a bit more than just releasing a few soldiers.

Hope this helps.

Iwan
