I actually think the woman is sculpted better than comparable figures from other companies, with the exception of the hands. The sailor has petite hands -- it's almost like the hands should be switched!
Perhaps the size of the female figure's hand is exaggerated by it being closer to the camera. That might not account for the whole of the disparity, but it's a factor that has to be considered.

Well, well, well, there, besides the photo , posted above by Zack was another photo of a new figure, which to me, is as equally exciting as the "Shore Leave" set
