Short Range Desert Group (1 Viewer)

Well Boys, I can Die a happy man thanks to Rick and the Figarti crew. After recieving my Figarti LRDG vehicles at the west coaster earlier this year, my hope was renewed that I might yet complete my most frustrating project.
I contacted Rick and though they had no wheels in stock, he had the crew at figarti make me up a set of the 1/30th scale wheels and shipped them to me. There Perfect! As you can see this babies been sitting up on blocks like it broke down in East L.A. for well over a year. It will now proudly join the service and once the weather cools I'll take tons of my collection out to the White Sands Nat'l Monument and do an extensive photo shoot!
Thank you Rick, It's difficult to find the proper words to express my gratitude for going way over the call of duty to help me on this one. You and the Figarti crew have reaffirmed my belief in the Figarti products and people and I will continue to support Figarti in there continuing sucess!:D:D:D:D:D

Ray,
Glad you got the final pieces for the puzzle. I can only imagine the time you must have put in to this project, but it's defo worth it. And good on Figarti for going the extra mile.
Nice one.

Ray:

What a great project topped off by a nice pair of rubber tires. I don't know
how expensive they are but I hope King & Country considers making them a
part of there vehicles in the future.

I hope you find a nice spot in your collection for this great piece.

Thanks NJJA and Simon, It really feels good to have it finished, it was alot of work but just plain fun! I'll display it amoung my 8th army desert shelf, I may have to box one of those "Common Production" models LRDG to make room!!!:D:):D
