Looks like someone stole the cactus from the scene—probably needed it for a desert diorama emergency!Artillery and also the dispatch set
The US soldiers with carabines charging from MAW2 setSome us army
Interesting set—I don’t think I’ve seen it before! Would love to know its box number… but I’d still trade it in a heartbeat for one of those mythical sets that never made it across the pond. You asked for some Indian Mutiny sets Boerboy so here are some Blackwatch for you. According to Martin these sets were released in the states and not in the UK
This is WA59 Regimental Color from Napoleonic Wars so I am pretty sure the rest are from the same range not Mutiny. Just my 2 centsWhoops I forgot the regimental flagbearer
One lest flagbearer. Could he be a SeaforthCloseups of flagbeares
Thanks I agreeI don't do much Trophy Civil War, but those Zouaves are exceptional!
Thanks BoerboyVery scarce ACW32 11th Indiana Zouaves
Absolutely from the Indian Mutiny range. Martin would concur. I did research on these before I made the big purchase. And to think I had tan BW and blue Cameron’s years ago I. Chicago and did not buy themInteresting set—I don’t think I’ve seen it before! Because it looks like later issue from Napoleonic range.
If Martyn would concur I have to believe it but would love to see a sticker with set number on the box if you can find it.Absolutely from the Indian Mutiny range. Martin would concur. Well, I’ve never seen them in white uniforms before, so I’m pretty sure they’re a special set—would love to see the label on that Big Box! And wow… a 4,000+ figure collection? That’s roughly 700 boxes! No wonder those photos of shelves packed with red boxes looked so shocking. I’m definitely going to start counting mine nowI was able to get a big box set of these and bought the flagbearers separate. I think they were specially made for somebody out east. The officer on horseback I have had for years but never knew who he went with. These are some of the favorites of my 4000+ piece collecton
Hawkeye, thank you for showing these amazing and rare sets! We are looking for moreOne lest flagbearer. Could he be a Seaforth
