Siege of Acre (and need new recruits) (3 Viewers)

About eight or ten years ago (not sure of the time frame) at the Chicago Toy Soldier Show dinner Matt was the guest speaker, he was asked if he ever considered producing a gate. He stated that he was considering it and then added that there were no definite plans to produce a gate.

Just for the record: First Legion wrote in this forum on July 22, 2016 "Actually, despite having gone cold on it (that is true) we have designed a new gate section and will also re-produce the straight wall section which has pretty much sold out. This process will take some time, but we hope to have them ready early in 2017. Best, Matt"

This was the last information about the new gate section.

My poor attempt for a gate to make do. Robin.

Maybe one day.

Bit more about the tv series:

Hi Horus,
brilliant idea to add a soundtrack. This is the entry from Germany.
Walter von der Vogelweide wrote a lot of poems and songs. Much to my and my older sisters delight a great number of it survived.
I spent numerous fruitless hours in school to learn some of his rubbish by heart or write lenghty memos why he was so influential to form the modern German language (1300 AD) I hate him ever since, but there are some nice Zinnfiguren about him taken from the iCodex Manesse - which I will not buy.
Now the PALISTINA LIED is special since musical arrangment as well as the text survived.
So what you hear is Walter´s original piece of music as it was played and sung 800 years ago.
If you are capable speaking or understanding Jiddish should will get most of the text. If you study the German language forget it and follow the english sub title.
For all the rest of you enjoy

Very well done Horus{sm4}

I have CRU050 its fairly standard fair from FL. Sorry photo has it mixed in with other knights. Added together with K&C Crusader figures I am sort of done with this era but for those FL fans maybe more in this range would be a good thing.

I picked up the mounted Mamelukes when on sale which was a good deal.

I would like them to return to it occasionally. Even if it is to redo some of the previous poses in new livery.

Yes, CRU050 is one of my favorites.
