Single best JJD release of 2010... (1 Viewer)

I was just reading something about Langy and it said he also dressed as an indian so perhaps for a summer figure John coukd do him that way. Also read that the French didn't wear their tricornes on winter expeditions.

Langy was also at Ticonderoga. So maybe another version could be in the works. It would complement the "Death of Howe" set since Langy was involved in that fighting.

I thought I read a while back that KC was entering the WWI plane market. But haven't heard anything recently. It will interesting to compare if it happens. John has done a fantastic job, but I do think the price is on the outer boundaries. Particularly since they come with no figures. KC did a nice ME-109 recently with pilot for $159. That seems reasonable.
Agree about the pricing being almost out of reach (for me, anyway) as things now stand. I do not think that KC, if and when it appears, can put a WW1 aircraft with a figure out at their Me-109 pricepoint. Complexity of construction will effect that price (two wings, rigging) and I don't know if the WW1 aircraft can be done in polystone. Certainly the delicacy of a WW1 aircraft compared to WW2 will be tough to do in polystone, maybe impossible. Will KC go to a different material, as JJD did? Remains to be seen. -- Al
