I am planning to add this figure to my Spanish tercios figures, can any of you post a side by side photo?
Thanks

Yes, the problem is the Crusades FL series are slightly bigger that other FL collections, that is why I asked it...

Ok, so your saying at worst the monk will be "slightly bigger" ?

I don't see how that could possibly pose any problem at all, are you implying that everyone of your figures has to be exactly the same height and girth ?

If not then what is the problem with having a slightly taller or "bigger" monk ? Surely there should be figures of all shapes and sizes if you want to create a realisitic display that will reflect reallity. The variation will only add to the display IMO, but I guess everyone sees things differently.

I still think it would really add to your display and is a really good Idea.

It really is a great figure. I use it with my Jenkins Penninsular War geurillas.

I don't have the new Spanish figures, but I can say that FL's later Crusaders, like the group the monk comes from, are much more consistently scaled then their initial Crusader release years ago. Some (not all) of those early figures were indeed quite large, so I understand your concern.

You are right. Not all the people have the same height, so why should toysoldiers have the same height?

In a time when people starved usually monks ate better than many..:) so why not a bigger and better fed monk alongside poor soldados of the Tercio?

Maybe he eats well, but no money left for the clothes {sm4}
