This Bond film does not let the series down, back to basics somewhat, but that's not so bad. Good ride for 2 hours to escape work. Cheers, Robin.

I agree with Robin. Back to basics is good as I was never a fan of the space ship type Bonds with
invisible cars etc.

Maybe one of the best Bond films since Sean Connery. I like the way they rebooted the series with the old familiar characters. I read somewhere that this is Daniel Craig's last Bond movie though.

Saw it 2 weeks ago, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Craig is my second favorite, after Connery. I like how Bond is portrayed once again as dangerours, tough. I agree on jumpstarting the characters of Q and Moneypenny, and I like Ralph Fiennes taking over as M. I was apprehensive, when I saw him in the credits, because I wasn't sure what kind of character he would play. I do regret that Dame Judy is stepping down, but I enjoyed her M, too.

Prost!

I also like the return to story lines that have a basis in the possibility of happening. While I love sci-fi, mixing it completely with the secret agent genre requires a complete suspension of belief. One of the things I really liked about the early Connery films was the ability to believe the story, especially 'From Russia, with Love'. Outer space battles are better left to Star Trek type shows. Now, I realize that James Bond is not realistic in the sense of straight drama, but I do have to be able to believe it to some degree. -- Al

Have to agree with previous comments as this was one of the better Bond flicks I've seen for sure. My favorite part was the train car entrance via the Cat excavator.

Keep it silly

Finally saw this last week and really enjoyed it. The opening action was great, though it made the rest look a little second paced. I also liked that there was a bit more conversation than usual, including some funny one-liners. Yes, Craig makes a good tough guy, I look forward to more!

Have not seen this yet but have heard he has indeed signed up for at least two more, glad to hear it as he is by far my personal fave Bond.

Saw it last week with my wife and teenagers and we loved it. Action packed, bad guys and very British! Daniel Craig at his best!
