Here is a sampling of my French army represented by Victrix, CTA, CTS and a converted Timpo, plus a Russian-made grenadier and Ukraine-made flag-bearer. Finally got some matte finish so the details and highlights are a little more evident. Hope you enjoy!

The size does kind of stand out when placed in a showcase setting but the painting is so fantastic you don't focus on the size. Once they get into combat everyone ducks to the same level and are all the same height. Looking forward to more of your work.

Thanks Middle Guard! I've got about 30 painted Imperial Guard to get the matte finish on and then i'll post em! Then I may move on to some Spartans that my lovely girlfriend got me a couple of weeks ago

Wow, very nice looking bunch of Frenchies...the brush-work is impressive. Those Victrix blokes really look detailed.

Thanks einaroneeye. I'm still learning how to do a lot of it but I experimented with highlights and lowlights on the Victrix and was pleased with the turnout. They were fun to paint!

Hi - I am on board with the Victrix French Grenadiers and Voltigeurs sets - the best ones are those made with the bearskin hat - really well detailed and precise figures and in as many poses as required. They are larger 54mm but are good in form and stature (not too bulky).

Yea they are gargantuan but look great. I agree, the grenadiers look the best, although I love the voltigeur officer. And I figure the grenadiers are supposed to be big guys so its ok if they are a bit larger than the average "marie louise" conscript
