I believe Sierra indicated that JJ put this one together.

"John will previewing some of his upcoming releases, showing some future sculpts, signing sets, talking about his work and getting ideas from you on future series. We are hoping all his items arrive safely, including a diorama he has put toghther for the show."

He did. It was a one off. I should get some pictures of it at the shop before it goes bye bye to the frozen North.

John made this diorama especially for the Chicago show to launch the Battle on Snowshoes Collection.

It comes in 3 seperate pieces made out of Marine foam, were it was carved, cut and sanded to give the required effect, before being covered in snow. The trees were made of old wire coat hangers, where they were taped, before being painted. The figures on the diorama are original master figures.

He decided at the last minute to sell it at the show. We have it on display in the store for another couple of weeks before it gets sent to it's new home. If anyone wants additional pictures, please let us know.

Best regards

I wish more companies would start selling there’s. Hint, hint for anyone who might be out there. It’ll be great to own some of those great displays. ;)
