Actually the info I have about the new range might only be Chinese Wishpers and if I tell it and it is wrong, I will be doomed even more

Somehow I don't think they will go that modern until they had done more of the earlier periods. Let's see so far, they have done one automatic/repeating firearm period, two flintlock periods, one non-repeating cartridge period and one early gun powder period, so ...... I think a pre gunpower period is certainly due. CID, CID, CID or I came, I saw, I conquered perhaps?

Well, the anagram really only worked for the last hint because nobody knew it was an anagram. If people know it's an anagram, it would be quite easy to figure out.
