So... any ideas what the next new range is??? (3 Viewers)

Calculate 1*5-56+67(1/34)/456.6577 and you'll know what the next range is ...

Ceasar's Gallic Wars  The Seven Years War or A line chronicling the Crusades from the First to the Teutonic Knights . Any or all of this would get my money . First Legion are IMO taking the art of making Toy Soldiers to the next level in the evolutionary process , And I'm along for the ride . I just hope my Bank account has enough gas ;) Gebhard

Brilliant clue. It works out exactly to Julius Caesar's expeditions to Britain in 55 - 54 B.C., the death of his Daughter in childbirth, and the breakup of the ruling triumvirate in Rome.

Alex, you did create a brilliant clue. So brilliant, my math skills fell short of figuring it out!:D

If it did turn out to be the Roman period, I think that would be a good seller for First Legion. Having Roman figures painted at a connoisseur level while at FL's prices would be a good thing. They would certainly fill a void that currently exists.

Fully agreed, though it would mean more trouble for me:D.

Please Please no more ancient stuff!!
Unless you count the Samurai (which are not really ancient), FL has yet to do an ancient period.;) Also, no producer is currently doing a comprehensive job on the Romans. Of course the Dark Ages, like Cid or Edward's England would be great but they are not even ancient. Of course we all have different tastes but to me, apart from WWII air combat, the history of war stopped being interesting after 1870 or so with the general use of repeating weapons.

Romans,North west frontier or the Indian Mutiny would be very welcome from FL. I know this will sound odd coming from a dedicated WW2 collector, but lots of suppliers have this covered, lets have something different from FL.

Maybe a lot of suppliers/companys have do WWII covered but many of the them don't do it "right"! How bout a "THIRD REICH ON PARADE" series?? Or the WAR IN ITALY?

For me, I am still interested in the history of the post-1900 period, but I am not a collector of this period, except for one CS winter tiger that I bought for a simple display piece!

As has been said on this thread, a solid Roman line (Imperial or Republic periods) is lacking in the toy soldier universe. Haven't liked any that has been produced in the past by any company, Aeroart being the exception, but the cost of their line of Romans prevents me from making a nice size diorama possible. :( They are still the best I have seen! :)

Needless to say I agree on all counts. Indeed, the Aeroart Romans are extremely nice but I can't spend that much for one figure.;)

I look at my Aeroart and Kolobob Romans as the desert of my Toy Soldier collecting ;) I work to hard to deprive myself once and awhile . And if you don't overdo it , its not to harmful . And although the price of a Great Figure and I said Great figure has gone up recently so have the quality IMO and at Around $ 135.00 +++ they will IMO go well with First Legions ROME range when they get around to it :) I can only imagine what FL could do in terms of a ROMAN range or Crusader Line , but until that happens I will have to Shop with Mr Thor and others to get the Quality I have interest in .. All the Best Gebhard

Something like these would be most welcome :)

I hope its the Romans, There is just hardly anything out there, if you collect them. Not unless as Gebhard says. You want to spent $135.00 plus on each one with the Russian manufacturers.

So guys, check the FL website...TOP LEFT CORNER :D
