Who else is getting it?!!:)

It looks very cool to me,K&C has a long pedigree of producing fine North Africa vehicles and this is another to add to the list. Those AK Tank riders would look good on it too.A big congrats and thanks to Andy and K&C,North Africa range continues to grow in quality and size.:)

I would be on the Mk. III in a second, if they do it in panzer gray. -- lancer

Excellent Tank to add to a collection new or established, classic Tank made in classic style.

agreed this is the 1st afrika corps set that i have really taken a fancy to so will be adding it to my collection against my 8th army sets :D:D:D

I suspect I'll get this. I'd be curious about the size and whether it could be used along side the AK19 pice for dios and the likes (track detail etc, not withstanding). Speaking of which, I really like the track sag. looks very cool.

Good point. The original Panzer III is old and is probably 1/32 while the new one will likely be 1/30. We could always ask K&C if there will be a size difference.

Could do. Don't think they'll tell us mind. ;)

I'll be waiting for grey too.

In regards to the old PzIII, I doubt it is 1/32. It's been a while since the issue of it's scale has crossed my mind, but back when I was investigating, I had determined it was of the larger (probably 1/30) variety.

It scales perfectly when placed next to the Tunisian Tiger & new PzIVshorty.

I've just seen the price!.At £117 this is a bargain!!.Again thanks to Andy and K&C.

Fantastic piece, a definite classic for any armour collection. I'm with Lancer, if K&C do a grey version ( as I've mentioned in my K&C Suggestion Thread ) maybe in the FOB range I'm all in!
I also mentioned the recent prices. Certain manufacturers keep things very pricey and limited which I think for the vast majority of collectors slams the door on them, not nice! Toy soldier snobbery if you ask me. Way to go K&C, I'm glad someone out there can produce an outstanding product at a reasonable price!
I'm also glad to see remakes of old, hard to get pieces. Keep them coming.

Cheers :)

I'm not sure I would like to see the Panzer III come out in Grey as I would have to get it as well as the A/K version  It's all part of Andy's cunning plan to keep us poor ;) :D

Definitely getting the Mk III. The Afrika Korp and 8th Army are my overall favorite lines. Was never really into the older models due to the tracks. Have various desert vehicles from other lines (diecast/plastic/etc.), but am hoping to build up my K&C collection in that area. My other favorite is early war FOB, so if a grey version was put out that would be tempting also. :D

in my eyes, for the pakwagen and this MkIII, had demonstrated K&C figures and vehicles have indeed improved much.

the figures appeared to have shed that cartoonish form and appear more life like, but still somehow retain that distinctive and attractive vivid colours.

the vehicle weathering and colours are now more gritty and realistic, so much so if you had removed the figure, i would have thought it was one of those much vaunted figarti vehicles. the tracks also had improved drastically.

comparing it with my DAK favourite, the tunisian tiger, it was no contest, this Panzer III won hands down.

i just hope that this new improvements will be sustained.

and more remakes (with these improvements) won't hurt.

sincerely.

I have the older Panzer III. I really like it, but the tracks/wheels lack of detail takes something away from it. This new Mk III looks great. Not sure if I want to get it though since I already have the old version, but at the reasonable price, just might have to anyway.

Yes although the older version is a nice model, check out the tracks on the new one.K&C have had a quantum leap in this area and the results are clear.

Rob

Must order the new model ,such an improvement on the older version,a long overdue overhaul in my opinion, should sell in big numbers to new and established K&C collectors.

Here is the old III that I repainted and distressed for ETO since I dont collect AK.
