So, what's next...? (5 Viewers)

Darn tootin! No one can tell me what to buy or not buy! Well... ahhem, ... Except for she who must be obeyed!

You're doggone, durn right there my Restless Prince of the Undead.....To quote one of your priceless descriptions of "She Who Must Be Obeyed", the Spouse Unit is the final arbitrator when it comes to what we can or can't buy. Unless you can keep the latest purchases hidden from her that is.
:eek::eek::p:p:)

Hi Harry

Therein lies the beauty of the Napoleonics ... the line becomes a little wider, the column a little longer and the square, a little bigger.
It is hard to tell .. when reviewing the troops.

Have a good day.

Hmmmm......Certainly a cunning plan OD.
Wonder if it'll work for an Ancient Greek Phalanx as well, seeing as I'm in the process of winding myself up to submit an order for some more of those fantastic EoI figures.
If I have to make an appearance before The Board Of Imperial Punishments next time I'm home, then I guess we'll know one way or another....:D:D;):eek:

Funny, I didn't suspect anybody else operated this scheme. It's like you're reading my mind...will have to put some tinfoil under my hat I think.

Yea , it works on ancients as my Roman Legion balooned up to 100+ using the old change formation technique;). Just try to alternate when you move them. Sometimes you have to suck it up and rearrange them without making a purchase just in case she's checking and then..... Wait a minute this sounds llike some scheme Flashy would dream up, maybe that's where I got the idea:D:D;).

Thats how I came about the large diorama in my office.

1) LOCATION - Office ;)

2) LONGER FORMATIONS - "No, Honey - its the mirror in the back that makes it look bigger" :D

That is clever.I wish there was a trick like that for WW2.I often hear the phrase 'I don't remember that Tank'?.I'll have to take up Naps, its the only way to build a huge army without arousing interest!;)

How many model tanks can one man need? I keep asking myself this but i keep coming back for more.

Thats easy you turn to your wife and say...........This one for winter, this one for summer, this one for............and by that stage she has turned and walked out with a glazed look on her face!!

Bingo! you win

Tony

Yea, summer 40, summer 41, summer 42, winter 39, spring 42, eastern front spring 41, western front spring 41, the posibilities are endless:eek::D.

Coming from someone who eagerly awaits dispatches this speculation is too early even for me!;)

Rob

Yo Trooper Brummie, go to the Queens Own Hussars museum at Warwick, tell them I sent you ask them for a Centurion, then you wont need any more model tanks. Mind you dont think the neighbours will be impressed seeing it in the garden, plus they are a bit rough on the tarmac driveways lol, not bad on petrol four gallons to the mile.
Bernard.

They tried that in San Diego once. Unfortunately the guy could not drive or park real well. CHP stopped him and gave him a lead citation.
