Wayne - Andy and Helen are really engaging and interested in talking with K&C collectors. The function(s) Brett organises are casual and well done. You'll enjoy.

Sorry guys, can't make it over this year, but if the 2009 visit to Canberra was anything to go on, I'm sure all Aussies who make it over to 'the East' this year will have a great time.

Personal interaction with the people we usually only communicate with on the computer really brings us together, as like minded souls who love toy soldiers. You can relate to that now, can't you Wayne?????

I've already asked for a 'leave pass' and its been accepted, but maybe next year I'll be there.

John

Can't make it either a bloke at work had a heart attack (He is ok but retiring)so im the only butcher left have to employ and train a new bloke so holidays canned{sm2}.But always next year money saved on travel will be well spent on TS,s.............{sm4}

I went last year & it was a good time. This year is a no-go though as I will be travelling to Lae in PNG on the 6th of June … duty calls. Hope a good time is had by all who attend, cheers … Alby

Wayne mate,
Sorry to hear you not attending. I am sure all the boys will miss not meeting you.
This will be the third year Brett and Gerelou have hosted the Brisbane K&C Dinner and IMO they are getting bigger and better. Many thanks to The Military Workshop. I will be there for my third one, wouldn't miss it for quids.
I hope to post photos and a report on Andy's talk soon after the Dinner. Could be an interesting Q&A session with topics like Russians, Stukas, Romans, etc to make the evening bubble along.
Andy and Helen will then as usual visit Sydney and for the first time this trip drop in for a flying visit to Melbourne. The "Southern" capital of Australia. ^&grin Thats one for you young Tim Tyler. We fly the bonnie blue flag.^&grin^&grin Love that song.
Any Treefroggers who can't make either Brisbane or Sydney are welcome to a small Dinner being arranged in Melbourne on Monday 13th June. Louis, Lawrence, Tom, Hans, Tim, Ed, Joe, Carlos, Jason, Chris and all my US mates, just jump on a plane. You would be most welcome and looked after like Kings, Aussie style. .:smile2:
Cheers Howard

PS Sorry forgot to invite all my Kiwi, Brit and Australiasian mates. Raymond (glossman) jump on a plane.^&grin
