I remember having WWII soldiers that had separate equipment that you had to attach. helmet, belt, rifles, pistols. What are they?

Also what year did marx make WWII soldiers? Is there a book on them?

The main company was Peco if I remember correctly, with knock-offs by other companies. Peco had GI's, Indians, pirates, etc. but my favorite was Davy Crockett.

What size or scale (roughly) were your soldiers? Depending on the scale, I think, too, of figures made in 1/35 by the model companies, like Tamiya.

Richard O'Brien included Marx in his "Collecting Toy Soldiers" books, including the large-size figures that Marx produced. I can check when I get home tonight and post back with more details, if there are no other posts in the meantime.

Prost!
