The woodland scenery really sets these fierce Gauls off so well. Great job Mike. Robin.

Disappointed I missed the boat on this one. Should have bought them when I had the chance

Nice scene Mike and for a second there I thought your dio thread was titled "Some Angry Gals Looking For Some Romans..."^&grin

Excellent display Mike and as already mentioned the woodland backdrop really adds to the scene.

Hi Vicknor

John has Icenei warriors coming soon as well as some German tribesmen I believe and from the preview sculpts they look very good indeed.
So you might of missed on this series of the range, but there are two exciting ones coming as well as the Republican Romans starting to appear.

Steve

Wonderful pictures Michael {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Not sure I'd want to holiday in France with that lot around^&grin

All the best

Martyn:)

Great shots Michael. - Anxiously awaiting the release of John's fighting Romans to take on these Bad Boys.

Ken...
thanks...
I am too...
while I love the "peaceful campfire figures"...
I'm hoping we will get plenty of Romans figures with the yellow and white colored scutum style shield...
in fighting poses to engage these Gauls...

Yes Michael, hope there are many Romans in action planned, including Centurions, Optios, Aquilifirs etc. etc.....
At least it sounds like you know what shield color you want to go with. I still can't decide. Might just have to close my eyes and pick one.

Ken...I made my choice on the first marching set...then ordered the "standing on shield" sets...I'm gonna stick with this design so they all match...seems like everybody does the red shield...I wanted something different...I use the "magic 8 ball" when I can't make my own mind up...it usually answers................"maybe"...^&grin

I think a mix of different colour shields as long as their coordinated does not look too bad. I've done two scenes now with the Gauls and my next purchases will be the Germans. Nice presentation Mike. Sapper.
