A recent thread inspired one of my customers to request some customized Conte German troops. Here are a few of the resulting projects.

I,m the customer!
Another great job by my friend Gary B.
I have had a few people do conversion work for me and Gary is the absolute best.
No matter what is said, plastic collectors on TF,s are like 2nd class citizens.
I would venture to say there would be more, "that is fantastic, wonderfull diorama, blah, blah, blah," if someone put a K&C tank with 3 K&C soldiers on a kitchen table with a plastic tree thrown in. Than praise for what Gary created.
Yes folks I,m predjudice as I now spend my hobby money on these plastic conversions, rather than over $40 dollars for one metal figure.

I rarely comment on dioramas or pics, but I do like plastics. I check this section everyday. Conversions are especially neat. All toy soldiers interest me. What amazes me is the vast knowledge of history from our Forum members. You guys are experts!

Really imaginative figures.
What did you use to cover the Dead Guy ?
Next, we need soldiers having a service over a dead guy.

The blanket over the dead German was made from two-part sculpting epoxy. My current favorite brand is Kneadatite blue/yellow. It's not common in the hobby shops - I end up looking up "kneadatite" on eBay and I usually find it at wargamers' supply stores. It's a great filler and sculpting material for figures and conversions.
