During a short trip to Hong Kong and China, I visited Andy and he disclosed that during the Chicago Show, K&C will preview its newest line. He did not tell me what it will be, but did say it is NOT World War II. It will be a theme that has not been done before by any manufacturer. K&C is actually readying two new lines that have never been done before, but decided to introduce only one at Chicago.:)

Top ten guesses:

10) Cavemen -- (with Geico as co sponsor?)
9) South American rebels and hostages (with fake red cross helicopters)
8) Homeland Security Air Marshalls (in coach seating - now that's heroic!)
7) Anti war protestors (in order to "balance out" K&C product line-up)
6) US Grenada invasion (EXTREMELY limited edition)
5) Tibetan monks (would have to manufacture outside China!)
4) M*A*S*H unit (TV version, with autographed "hot lips")
3) Predator drones (with and without remote control operators)
2) "Re-enactor Series" (including out of shape "soldiers" in ill fitting uniforms)

and the number one....
1) Michael Phelps! ("anatomically correct" in speedo)

If I Was A Betting Man I Would Think French Foreign Legion Or Something From The Middle Ages

Captain Nemo, with Nautlilus and crew..

or some other U-boat

My bet is that it will be something that when it is released everyne will go "oh yeah! Why didn't I think of that"

Or will it be WOI scounting and wheather balloons?

Imagine seing them in you dio taking off or floating around...

I'm also betting it's something from the middle ages, or possibly from the Renaissance, since the Crusades line has proven to be so popular.

I'm going to take a guess (not sure if anyone else has ever done these) but the 30-year-war.

OK, I will guess that he is on a Sci-Fi kick and we will see Star Gate SG1 team battling all the Jaffa, and Goa'uld System Lords! Imagine all the characters that K&C could create. Of course, following up with the Stargate Atlantis team and all those bizarre creatures!

Ok, OK... I know, get a life!

This one I find interesting.

Good, not WW2, I can save some money!
Pierre may have hit on something with Sci Fi. I sorta remember a few years back that there was talk of something along those lines.
Having said the above, probably none of us will get this right.

Thats a pretty intersting pic when you examine it closely, say the large number of infantry on the floor in front??? where's it from/

A model of a section of a pike and shot formation from the Thirty Years' War on display at the Army Museum in Stockholm.

I got the link from Wikipedia.

What, no Dave Letterman fans? Not even a kudo or two for the effort? I mean, I thought there was a funny one or two in here. Or maybe ya'll take this hobby a bit more serious than I do....??:rolleyes::cool::D;):p

Yes, I am pretty sure this has never been done before by any toy soldier maker. I can see you are logged in Andy, so what do you think?
