Another Great visit to the show ( John Jenkins wise! ) John actually turned up in person - and spent a huge amount of time chatting to all the visitors to the stand. He told us of many, many upcoming WW1 releases.......start saving they are going to be good! I don't know if I can give details but I for one can't wait.

Some excellent masters of WW1 sets due for release were on show. I also met - all the way from Australia, John ( "Obee" ) and his lovely wife Pauline. What a nice couple!

A presentation by John Jenkins of No 100 of the Ltd Edition set: William Charles Fuller VC GWB-80 was made to Seimon and Andrew of the "Tin Shed" Museum. ( Which I unfortunately missed! )

James and Adam had a superb layout as usual - thanks lads!

Here's the pics:

Nice pictures. Thanks for posting them. Many great things on the way. Really like the infantry and artillery piece. Time for that 3/4/5th mortgage.{sm2} -- Al

Just 'out-bloody-standing', John is without doubt the master of Great War figures and all the rest are just trailing behind. Those Diggers are brilliant, 60th Battalion, 5th Division A.I.F, for those handy with a brush, like Obee, you have scope to make them any one of twelve Battalions of the 5th Division, magic! With the other figures eg: Officers, Skypilot, and those wonderful guns I see a couple of large scale tables dios next year at the museum with an all Aussie theme. I can just see a gun line dio , as crews for them will be on the way for sure. Now all John needs to do is produce a mobile field kitchen and some general serivce wagons. :salute::
Wayne.

Not even collecting WW1, but some of John's stuff is just too good not to get. ^&cool, Robin.

I am one of JJD's biggest fans and collect almost all his ranges. I was only going to collect his WWI airplanes as I have a multitude of glossy WWI infantry. Now with such great tanks, vehicles and infantry I am all in.
Still I love his FIW, SYW and Napoleonics....any mention of new items in these ranges?

Sorry, I selfishly only asked about my own favourites - WW1 and The Battle of Leuthen series - ( The last release in the Leuthen series, the NCO is definitely on the way some time in the future. )

Perhaps others who were at the show may know something more?

Cheers, Roy

Great stuff!

Wish I'd been there!

Didn't see any beavers pictured though!!

Pete

Great Pics - Thanks Roy for taking the time to get these posted, and allowing us all to share a little bit in the show experience.

In the same boat - Had my hands full with a number of other JJD series and wanted to avoid WWI. But presently John's creative attention is strongly with the Great War and he is really producing some great sets. - Can't help but want to collect these also.

What I really appreciate in these photos is the "sneak peek" of John's future releases, especailly the advancing figures of 60 Battalion, 5th Division, AIF. These will be an absolute must have for me so that I will have some infantry for my Mark V Male & Female tanks to support. These are marvelous looking and its good to see troops that are advancing toward the enemy in light order . . . . not loaded down with their knapsacks and other equipment which would have been in their way and slowed them down. Looking forward to their release . . . . .

Congratulations to John Jenkins and all his master work! Loved the 60 pdr --- what about its garrison?^&confuse..
I guess it is shortly coming and I will love to pair it to my scale link one.....
Just need to figure out how to pair them in a way that the difference in scale does not jump into ones eyes....scalelink is 1.32....;););)
