First of all thanks to Andy and all the team at K&C for all their hard work putting out great releases every month. I don't collect all of the ranges but I still enjoy looking at them and appreciate the effort that goes into each and every one.

Anyway, whilst creating my own "mini Hougoumont" using the long searched for and finally found French farmhouse and courtyard and the farmhouse bits and pieces set it would be nice to use the ladders to either have a Coldstream Guard climbing from inside and maybe a French Infantry or Voltigeur climbing from outside?

Or both......

The ladders can't just be for cleaning the windows?

Thanks.

Oh, and obviously someone to hold the ladder.

Can't be too careful and even Wellington himself was very keen on Health & Safety in the workplace :)

I guess you want to do something like this :

I second this. Would be a great release! Different! The options I see would be the figure would either have to be moulded to the ladder or maybe like the old crusader ones the figure is designed as a hanger to hang onto the ladder?

Agreed! Simmo -- can you post pictures of what you have to date? I would love to see your buildings!

Ladders would be great to see, especially in Napoleonic era storming of the battlements when advancing on fortresses in Spain.

This is an example of what Nik has made in his NAP range of the 88th Regt Storming Party carrying a ladder forward.

I suggested the same thing to Emilio of Kronprinz quite a while back and whilst he liked the idea no more has been heard. Being pretty much a one man operation I guess he has a lot on his plate !

Something like this with a shorter ladder for the French Courtyard/European Walls diorama sets but with Napoleonics would be great.

Either Coldstream or Voltigeurs/Line Infantry to tie in with previous releases......
