K&C Hong Kong Postmen Picked these up in a post office in Hong Kong ,noticed them for sale , while waiting in line..just had to get them

Those are very nice pieces but with that title I was expecting a new Monty Python line from K&C

Ah ah ..yes!I'd like Monty Python 's Baby Snatchers!ah ah...seriously, sometimes i wonder how many K&C sculpted figurines are on the market with other brands(DelPrado , Hachette etc.)..my last buy for example was this Marechal Berthier from DelPrado Napoleonic Soldiers, i think is sculpted by K&C:

This was a millenium commerative set for Hong Kong Post,showing a postman from the 1960''s, 80''s and the 90''s, there were 2000 sets made and they also came with a nice wooden base for display..they are nice pieces..not quite monty python but bizarre enough for my collection

Reminds me of the firefighters series by DelPrado. Were those produced by K&C's people, too?

I was in HK in sep , but I noticed the set is also available online from the Hong Kong Post Office,

and at 25 USD (188 HK$) for the set plus postage might be considered rather good value

Not a bad value at all and postage is listed at about $12 US. I did notice they are not advertised as K&C. Do yours have any markings on them?

They were made by K&C for HongKong Post, they did other work for other companies as well..if you check out the last collector's edition it shows an example of a bellboy for the penisular hotel. They also did figures for cathy pacific, hong kong police , the HK jockey club, les miserables etc
