Hello valmy,

Thank you for your kind words. However, I am still not sure if you are referring to a covert operations "force" or a particular "stealth" weapon.....quite confusing.

The cooordinates that you provided is a point in the North Sea between the north-east coast of Scotland and the southern tip of Norway. I am not sure what the British Army would be doing there in 1940 unless it has something to do with the Norweigian campaign.

Regards, Raymond.

Really last try using the given hints: answer should be British Commandos. Their training center during WW2 was Achnacarry lodge/castle (location 56°57'0" N 5°0'0" E) in Scotland. They were initially composed of 4 battalions and created by Lt Col Dudley Clark following Churchill's order. The equivalent of the British Commandos in the US Army are the US Army Rangers (their regiments' numbers go up to 75th). They trained with the BC in Achnacarry lodge during WW2.

Grognard,

You have the best answer that fits the indication points.

Congratulations.

I was "all at sea" with the coordinates.

Raymond. :salute::
