A little more than a year ago, I was the very fortunate recipient of some of the most generous gifts I ever heard about in the Toy Soldier Hobby.

One of the generous suppliers was a former forum member, Harry, who was used to be known here as "harrytheheid".
He sent me his entire collection of K&C Crimean War Line figures, only charging the shipping costs.

Tonight I lined them all up and found out that I had too many to display on a given shelf in my curio cabinet.

So, I decided to give some of them away, and as Harry did, I'm only asking for shipping costs.

Here's a group of 10 figures of the "Thin Red Line" Highlanders.
Please notice, that all of them do need a little work.
They all need bayonets and a touch-up of paint here and there.
They do not come in the original boxes.

I will package them, wrapped up in bubble wrap individually.

The most pleasure I would get, if this group gets to a collector, who has the necessary skills to fix them up, and will enjoy displaying them in his collection.

I really don't want to see them being offered on ebay.

Contact me by pm through this forum, if you are interested.
If multiple members are interested, I reserve the right to pick my choice by tomorrow night 8:00pm

Cheers!

Konrad

That is very generous of you! I hope they find a good home!

These figures are taken care of now.
Happy Collecting!

Here's another one I want to give away, only asking the shipping costs.
It's a WWI Artillery Set, that was given to me by yet another former forum member, Pierre.

This Austro-Hungarian Artillery Set is from Fusilier Miniatures (kits), but custom painted in a beautiful traditional gloss finish by our fellow forum member Jeff "aujj65".

Hopefully this will find a nice place in a traditional gloss WWI collection, where it gets displayed and appreciated as it deserves.

Cheers!

Konrad

You beat me to it Al. I have two sets painted by Jeff and he's a fantastic painter. I'm sure it will look great in your collection. Enjoy!

Konrad, I was hoping you would give them all to me, then I would put them on ebay!:)

Hi Konrad, Trev from Australia , hope all is well, bit late but never know, if you have any of the Crimean war figures left would love some, just one pose of each, if none left no probs, all the best for Christmas, another yr flys past.

Received the field piece and crew on Monday; well packed and in good condition. It certainly is a nice little piece, isn't it . . . well sculpted and painted. It will be added to my display case next to my RHA battery of four guns. (Should I ever get crews finished for my 7.7cm German battery, they'll be in a line of nine guns!

Thank you again for a wonderful set!
