A few days after D-Day, US forces begin the push across France.

Since there are a couple of truck type vehicles coming out from K&C this month, I decided to pull out my old DD049 truck for a few shots.

Great shots!!

The only thing that kept me from buying this was the driver in a softcap- really felt he should have had a helmet on- picky but that was the deciding factor.

This was a really great set probably now worth an arm and a leg. Another Really nice dio

Great shots-it really makes me wish I hadn't given up on collecting Normandy era sets-but a man's got to know his limitations (or credit card limit, whichever comes first...lol).

Thanks guys. This set is one of my favorite D-Day sets. By the way Currahee Chris, the driver with the softcap... maybe he thinks he's far enough behind the front lines to be safe, but if it was me (I agree with you here), I'd have my helmet on!

Nice scene. I like that set and when it shows up, the price is usually high. Would go well with the new Dodge 6x6.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm glad I got it when it came out for the original $89 price.:)

Great piece. Mine has been sitting in its box for a long time waiting for a good display idea. I now think it will look really good on a USAAF field in the future. Glad I haven't gotten rid of it. Thanks for reintroducing it for me after all this time.

Thanks. That's a great idea for using it with a USAAF field.
