Hi Guys,

Here is our second special West Coast dispatch...as you can see we are still in France however the action has moved from a Parisian street in August 1914 to a dusty country road in June 1944.

Rounding a corner comes a Sherman Firefly supported by a Cromwell tank...approaching the tank appears a British commando guarding a pair of Waffen SS troopers and a military police NCO on a motorcycle. In the background the ruins of a long-abandoned church...hope you like this additional example of Gordon's work.

Best wishes, and happy collecting!
Andy C.

Wow, what a surprise this morning looking at the forum. I was not expecting D-Day stuff. A Firefly, yes!!! It appears to be an excellent piece and a must have for my collection. Gentlemen I have a problem however, perhaps some of you can relate. Despite being a Field Marshall I too ( just like the SHAEF commanders) cannot make unilateral decisions, I have superiors to report to. I must consult with other people, there are egos to be considered and personality conflicts, conflicting goals and outright disention. Case in point, I have another manufacturers Firefly  but I now want this one, how do I approach the wife ( aka Roosevelt/Churchill )?:eek::eek: ( I can hear it now, "You've already got one of those. How many do you need? Where will we put them? What about food for the children? What about our mortgage? etc,etc,etc........).

LOL! Well food and mortgage can be dismissed as mere trifles:)eek::D;)).The most difficult is the 'you've already got one' question. You could try and say that you've got so many Tigers and Panthers that you can't have enough Fireflies!.Thats what I'm going to do.If you never hear from me again its been great knowing you all!!:D
