Songs for the cavalrymen out there (1 Viewer)

I have always favored Garry Owen in most versions,,my present one being Al Swearengen in a medly singing to the moosehead on the bar wall, deadwood episode,"amatuer night",,the series stupidly ended by HBO in their usual manner,,the next being contained In "they died with their boots on",,my idol E. Flynn. The least being the version sung by myself and the rest of my platoon for an hour outside in feb.after several training infractions,,Armored Cavalry -Reconnisance ,Ft Knox Ky,,Having Sabers upside down on insignia,,stupid answers to instructors,,freezing on weapons training,,laughing at a redneck NCo firing at a deer with an M60 downrange,,not knowing what Fiddlers Green is,,And worst of all not knowing Armored Cavalry lends tone to what would otherwise be a disorganized brawl,,.I of course was innocent but had to go along to get along.

Another favorite marching cadence tune amongst Cavalry troops:
Around her hair she wore a yellow ribbon....She wore it in the springtime in the merry month of May.......Around the block she pushed a baby carriage....... so on..
