Joe,

Thank you for your kind words, but although I have more than 250 Hiriart sets in my collection, many of the photos I am posting are stock photos from the Hiriart catalog CD. Besides, there is no way I will ever be able to match some of the collectors whose collections I have posted on the Forum; their integration of artwork, militaria, custom dioramas, etc. far exceeds anything I can contemplate or can afford.

Mike although you may feel that what you've done in adding to your over all collection of glossy figures will ever be close to matching the others what you've have is quite a nice start even though you'll never match what the other may have but I'm looking forward to seeig the additional sets your able to add to it as time goes by..........Joe

Hiriart has recently added this South American set to its catalog: 1351 CAZADORES DE LOS ANDES, ARGENTINA.

Earlier this year, I posted a poor photo of a Hiriart non-catalog 19th century Peruvian Gun Team. Here is a better photo. I have seen this set in person and the uniform colors are very striking and unusual.

Thanks Al. I must admit that I have never seen a set anything like those Gauchos before. The Peruvian gun team uniforms are even more attactive in person.

Although Guatemala is in Central America and not South America, here is a Hiriart non-catalog version of set 1329 Escuela Politechnica Guatemala. They are wearing dark blue tunics rather than the gray tunics found in the standard catalog set.

I like this set so well that I have added two of them to my 2015 Hiriart order---one for my collection and one for re-sale.

This is Hiriart's set 1057 ESCUELA MILITAR, URUGUAY which has the cadets in 19th Century uniforms with three flags. I have also added this set to a future order.
