Absolutely outstanding! In particular, I really like the textures of the plane. Looks like an illustration, rather than a digital image. Very nice effect.{sm3}

Excellent shot Duke! The question is, how did you take the shot and did you have a helper holding the spad?

I'm guessing it's the software he uses but I'm also impressed by the spinning blade. One of the better photos I've seen here!

Thanks Tom. The prop on this plane spins very well. I photographed it on one of JJD's clear stands but then had to use software to make the stand "disappear".
 
Duke, that's a great idea using the stand and then making it disappear. Would you mind sharing with us the name of the software.

Brad it's Cyberlink PhotoDirector 6. There may be a newer version now, not sure.

It takes some patience and practice to learn how to use it, but can do some things to make your photos better.
