Thank you for sharing. You've put a lot into this diorama and it shows. I's great. Could I please ask who makes the models including the buildings?

You don't hang about! Last time you showed these they were only grey undercoated. Very nice scene. ^&cool

:salute::

Thanks guys! The Spanish guerrillas are plastic figures of various makers and eras of time I pieced together along with 2 part putty and parts from Pirates, rev war figures, civil war figures, napoleonic figures mexicans ect... I even used a few parts from WWII G.I.s and cowboys and vikings.

There are 3 Conte pirates mixed in also. They looked like they could pass as Spanish guerrillas also so I threw them in. Here is a link to them in the ruff stages.

The french cavalry are a mix of Collectors showcase and Niena. I didn,t feel like digging out a lot of figures and those were close by for a quick set up to show my new conversions in a quick set up.

The buildings are all scratch built by myself and if you search here on the forum there are threads on here of those 3 buildings in the ruff stages also. Kind of a how to type almost, I talk about how I made them with pics in the ruff stages as I built them and you can also see the other sides of them also.
The nice thing about them is you can just turn them around and you have a whole different look.

I wanted to get some pics of the converted figures up close but my batteries died on me. :mad:

Sorry for the delay in commenting on another of your eciting dioramas featuring your converted figures blending in with your regulars an nicely done buildings. Love the way you've staged this round of photos.........Joe

You have done a superb job documenting and illustrating this neglected aspect of the Napoleonic Wars. I hope you inspire one of the manufacturers to tackle this subject.

I never touched the monk again since that last post of him, I kinda lost a bit of interst in the whole project and got side tracked with other day to day life problems.
Even the painting of these guys I had finished and primed got side tracked and then I rush painted the whole lot in 2 days. I don,t like how a few of the faces came out and might redue them. The eyes came out kinda funky on a few of them, like I said I rush painted the lot of them in 2 days and it shows.
I guess I lost the fire I had for the project when I first started it.:(

Really great results ! The fellah biting the cartridge is truly elegant.

Fish...really nice stuff...have not seen this era in history done before by anybody...refreshing to look at theses figures...

Hey Fish........really impressive work. I wish I had your skills at reworking figures.....and the time to do it.:smile2: Also, I've seen those background buildings in your displays in the past. Did you make those too?

Thanks for the views.........Joe
