Does any one have the Conte Spartans? Do you like them? Are they metal? Would you suggest getting them?
 
I have the first wave of them and really like them. They are in great poses and are painted excellently. And they are made of metal.
 
yah thats what tim said to but, there not spartans, there 300 spartans.

oh well then that changes my view on them. Yo no me encanta. I was wondering why they had armor and why the immortals where not like in the movie,not that those are correct

I dunno. Just my opinion of course but I think the 300 movie is awful. I do have the Frank Miller graphic novel though.
I think the old "300 Spartans" movie made in the 1960's (?) is far better.
I addition, I'm not too keen on the Conte Spartans either....They've been pumping iron down the gym too much, either that or they've been pumping steroids behind the gym too much.....!!!!
For good depictions of Greek and Persian troops, you can't get better than East of India figures IMO. I'd like to get some of these next year, cos I think they're excellent. Going by the photos I've seen anyway.
 
You know - Call me crazy - but, I really like those Conte Spartans.

Not everything has to be 100% realistic - and I think these guys show alot of action and go with the Myth of the Period !!

Great Set of figures in this range IMHO.
