I've seen two Spitfires at my local dealer and both had issues regarding the canopy/hood.
One was too big and the other one was too tight.
Is this a common problem with this model or just plain bad luck.
I would like to know before ordering one.
Please let me know!

Hi,

Mine was ok when i bought them, one of them had a loose canopy but after "squeezing" it abit, it fit just right :) Please order one or both, thought that the spitfires are really good

I know of two that were so tight they cracked whilst moving one was a spit the other a hurricane but, not heard anything since.

Thanks gents!
Ordered the 'Kiwi' Spit.
Was a bit disappointed after receiving the P51, but the Spitfire looks much better!

Are be interested in your P-51 if your interested in a swap ^&confuse

Received my Spitfire today and I'm glad I ordered this bird. One tiny flaw, the front part of the
canopy is a bit wide and the inside of the cockpit offers little detail. The pilot looks great though!
Also had a close look at the new Typhoon and the Fokker biplanes.
The Typhoon is very heavy and the wings look a bit thick but overall is very detailed.
The Fokkers look outstanding!!! I hope they'll also make a Sopwith Camel.
